Sharkees Corporation is the successor in Indonesian to the former Dutch East Indies that was privatized by the Government in 1949 and was responsible for Dutch Coal¡¯s surface coal mining activities in Kalimantan.
Sharkees Corporation has a substantial reserve base of low sulphur, low ratio coal to guarantee the success of the co***ny for the foreseeable future. This coal reserve from the current sites and from the co***ny¡¯s land interests will maintain a supply of quality coal to the domestic and industrial markets of power generation, steel making, cement production and other industries.
